Mushrooms have been widely studied in Japan, Korea and China to help maintain feelings of energy. Reishi-MRL is not an extract but instead contains both the mycelium and the primordia (young fruitbodies) of Ganoderma lucidium grown aseptically into a biomass. The biomass is then manufactured into tablets, each containing 500mg.

Reishi is probably the most familiar of all the mushroom supplements. In China it is known as the "Mushroom of Spiritual Potency". Indicated for allergies and mood.

For use as a food supplement take two to six tablets per day.
