Both beta-carotene and vitamin E act as antioxidants and neutralise harmful free radicals, which in excess can damage cells and tissues. Beta-carotene is converted by the body into vitamin A, as it is needed. Vitamin A is an important nutrient for the skin, mucous membranes and eyes. Starflower oil which contains omega 6 fatty acids, including gamma linolenic acid, may also help maintain a healthy skin and retain moisture. Vegetable origin capsule suitable for vegetarians. Take 2 capsules per day with a large glass of water, at lunchtime, 4 days before and during sun exposure.
