Lifeplan Folic Acid 400ug Tablets 100s. These tablets contain Folic Acid, a form of the essential vitamin Folacin. This is a water-soluble vitamin of the B group which is essential to the production of red blood cells and division of body cells. It is essential to the production of RNA/DNA and proper protein metabolism. An adequate intake is vital to the development of the foetus during pregnancy, where a daily allowance, prior to pregnancy and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, of 400ug is recommended. Folic Acid may be obtained from food sources, such as leafy vegetables and fruit, but your lifestyle could mean that your diet may not be providing an optimum intake.

Store in a cool dry place and out of sight of children. Contains no added salt, sugar, starch, lactose, gluten, live yeasts, synthetic flavours, artificial colours or preservatives. Registered with the Vegan Society.
